[{"ID":51,"Title":"Equine Influenza Vaccination compliance","Text":"\u003ctable\u003e\n \u003ctbody\u003e\u003ctr\u003e\n \u003ctd width=\"493\" valign=\"top\"\u003e\n \u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eALL \u003c/strong\u003ehorses attending SERC rides/events\u0026nbsp;\u003cstrong\u003eMUST \u003c/strong\u003ecomply with the following Equine Flu vaccination rules\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eFor consistency the guide to be used for checking vaccination records is as per the FEI rules:\u003c/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eAn initial primary course of two vaccinations must be given; the second vaccination must be administered within 21-92 days of the first vaccination.\u003c/em\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eThe first booster must be administered within 7 calendar months following the date of administration of the second vaccination of the primary course.\u003c/em\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eBooster vaccinations must be administered at a maximum of 12 month intervals; however, horses competing in events must have\u003c/em\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003ereceived a booster within 6 months + 21 days (and not within 7 days) before arrival at the event.\u003c/em\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eHorses may compete 7 days after receiving the second vaccination of the primary course.\u003c/em\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eRecord history will be checked in full to ensure that any lapses are identified.\u003c/em\u003e\u003c/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHorse passports must be available for inspection at the pre- ride vetting for all classes.
